Only Data in respect of exports/imports via Mumbai & Chennai is currently included in the Daily Port Listing Packages. But it is proposed to include data for exports and imports from Cochin, Vizakhapatnam, Tuticorin, Calcutta, Kandla and Mangalore. |

No, Data in respect of exports/imports effected prior to 1st April 2000 through Chennai is not available in the Daily Port Listing Packages. |

Neither the names or addresses of Foreign Buyers in respect of Indian Exports nor the names or addresses of Foreign Sellers in respect of Indian Imports are available. And yet, the information included on the CD is invaluable as it gives an overall picture of the movements of a product, of its existing markets/sources and of the prevailing prices and finally the quantities being moved with the names of the Indian Players in the market. The CD thus provides at your fingertips, trade Intelligence in respect of Indian Exports and Imports. |

Addresses of Indian Exporters and Importers are not available in the Lite Edition [ Both the Pro & Enterprise Editions however include this information ] |

No, Telephone, Fax, Email and contact person details are not included in the Lite Edition. [ However, in view of user feedback, we have decided to progressively include in the Pro and Enterprise Editions the telephone, fax and email address details for all Indian Exporters and Importers. So you will find more and more such information as the time goes by. ] |
| 8. Will the software work on LAN? |
The software is designed for stand-alone use, i.e. by a single user. Hence it cannot be installed on a LAN Server for use by multiple users. |
| 9. To what extent is the data accurate? |
The Data is sourced from the Daily Port Lists published by the Indian Customs at the concerned ports and is accurate to the extent of the source data. ( Mistakes in a small percentage of shipments should be allowed for e.g. the unit may be interchanged i.e. kg may be reported at metric tons and vice-versa but such mistakes are usually evident when reports are analyzed.) Barring stray mistakes the data is overall quite accurate (its from the customs records) and thus reliable. |
